Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 21, 2026

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of My Health Nanny (the "Service"), including the feature that lets you connect your hospital or clinic's electronic health record ("EHR") system to the Service using the SMART on FHIR standard. By creating an account, or by clicking "Connect" to authorize access to your health records, you agree to these Terms.

1. What My Health Nanny Does

My Health Nanny is a personal health-tracking tool. You can manually log readings such as blood pressure, cholesterol, food intake, physical activity, lab results, and prescriptions. You may also choose to connect your provider's patient portal so the Service can import records you authorize directly from your provider's FHIR server.

2. Authorizing Access to Your Health Records

When you click "Connect" next to a provider, the following happens:

  • You are redirected to your provider's own login page — My Health Nanny never sees or stores your provider portal password.
  • Your provider asks you to review and approve exactly which data categories ("scopes") you are willing to share.
  • Your provider redirects you back to My Health Nanny with a one-time authorization code.
  • My Health Nanny exchanges that code for an access token, which it uses only to retrieve the records you approved, and stores the token so it can continue retrieving those records on your behalf until you disconnect.

You may revoke this access at any time — either from the "Connect EMR" page in My Health Nanny by clicking "Disconnect," or directly from your provider's patient portal. Revoking access deletes the stored token; it does not delete records already imported into your account unless you separately delete them.

3. Your Data

  • Data you log manually or import from a connected provider is stored to provide the Service to you and is associated with your account only.
  • My Health Nanny does not sell your health data, and does not share it with third parties except as needed to operate the Service (for example, the cloud infrastructure that hosts it) or where required by law.
  • You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below.

4. Not Medical Advice

My Health Nanny is an informational tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and is not a substitute for professional medical care. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical condition or before making decisions based on information in the Service.

5. Account Responsibility

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.

6. No Warranty; Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, My Health Nanny is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including reliance on imported or self-reported health data.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
